Choose Us for Your Pet Grooming Needs
While pet grooming is not a strictly medical service, it still plays a role in enhancing health. In fact, regular grooming is necessary to keep your pet’s coat in top shape. A poorly-groomed coat can lead to painful fur mats, irritated skin, and even infections. Furthermore, these conditions can affect your pet’s quality of life and lead to other problems. That’s why Companion Animal Hospital Kenosha is excited to offer complete grooming services to the pet community.

- Bath and blow dry
- Full brush out

Why Pet Grooming is Important
Grooming serves several purposes. It tidies up your pet’s appearance, helps their skin, coat, and nails stay healthy, and increases the human-animal bond. Brushing your pet and trimming their nails on a routine basis establishes trust and can make your pet more receptive to being handled. Additionally, routine professional grooming can help your pet with socialization.
Other benefits of grooming:
- Prevents the buildup of dirt, oil, hair, and dead skin cells
- Helps to treat certain skin conditions that can be relieved with medicated shampoos and conditioners
- Keeps nails short and less likely to snag and/or break
- Allows us to check for parasites and recommend treatment if needed
- Your pet will feel fantastic afterward
